Poolside

I whipped out the digi-cam today and snapped a couple at the pool so here you go.

The pool is olympic size, really nice. We went to there to chill out for a little bit before the sun went down.
Here's a building I passed on the walk across campus.
All of the sidewalks are covered at NTU. Apparently it rains here.
Dorms.
I start school in a couple hours and I have absolutely no idea where my 8:30am class is. Should be interesting. More soon.

Schooled

Class starts tomorrow at 8:30am. Can't wait. Honestly though I'm looking forward to getting a routine down. And these classes don't look too bad either.
  1. Audio In Media
  2. Writing for Cinema and TV
  3. Creative Practices in New Technology
  4. Advertising and Creative Copywriting
  5. Strategic Planning and Policy for TV and Film
On paper that's the best schedule I've ever had. The plan is to drop one course but I can't decide which! I know, a tough life I live.
Anyway I'm having a great time out here. We've got a little crew together, mostly Swedes. (They're everywhere! Good people though.) I'll get some pics up of everyone as soon as I can. Maybe you could have guessed as much but I haven't busted out the digi-cam in the last couple days, which is why I've given you these killer self-portrait space-fillers. This one took me a few minutes to perfect so appreciate it!
More to come.

Slow Day + Arsenal

First slow day in a while! I slept in until 12, showered, met with "the rainbow coalition" for a trip to the mall and now I'm back in my dorm. I finally got an outlet adapter so I can charge my camera battery, but it's dark now so there's not much to photograph. More pics of come!
For now you'll have to get by with this pic of me in one of my new Arsenal jerseys. I bought two Arsenal jerseys on Koh Samet for about $25US. Yahtzee! (Good thing I did because they were $85US per at the mall today!) And the kits I bought are not knock-offs, trust me, I looked all over Bangkok for these things and I know an authentic jersey when I see it. I mean Sonny Style-Watch is my boy so I better know a real from a fugazee!
*I picked up "football" because it was either that or cricket, and well it wasn't going to be cricket. I even found an Arsenal bar!! Holla! I can get my Bills bar fix (Shout out to 710!) in Singapore so I'm pretty excited. Here's the website.
